Dr. Jeffrey Buchsbaum joined the MPRI team in July 2010. He is an international speaker on pediatric radiation oncology and has authored four book chapters and multiple peer-reviewed papers and abstracts. He specializes in pediatric radiation oncology. He also treats adult tumors and is particularly interested in re-treatment of previously irradiated areas, the head and neck, pelvis, brain, and spine.

Dr. Andrew Chang is one of just a few radiation oncologists in the nation who specialize in treating pediatric patients with proton therapy. Prior to joining the Indiana University School of Medicine, Riley Hospital for Children, and MPRI, he completed a fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital following his training at Loma Linda University.

Dr. Peter Johnstone, MPRI’s president and chief executive officer, began his career in radiation oncology in the U.S. Navy. He currently serves as the chair and William A. Mitchell professor of radiation oncology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. In January 2010, he assumed leadership for Indiana University Cyclotron Operations.

Dr. Arthur Ko is a board-certified radiation oncologist, specializing in genitourinary oncology. He has provided care for MPRI patients with prostate cancer since 2006. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Ko also has a Ph.D. in cancer biology and virology.

Dr. Mark McDonald joined MPRI in fall 2009 from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He is now assistant professor of radiation oncology at Indiana University and leads the head and neck radiation oncology team at IU. He provides care for MPRI patients with a wide variety of cancers.

Dr. Teresa Oldham has provided care for MPRI’s patients since 2006. She joined the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2009 and currently specializes in proton therapy for prostate cancer.
